Häagen-Dazs is a high-end ice cream brand originated in the United States, founded by Reuben and Rose Mattus in 1961. Renowned for its rich, creamy texture and use of high-quality ingredients, it does not contain artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives.

The brand aims to further elevate its presence during the Qixi Festival, also known as Chinese Valentine’s Day.

In response to Häagen-Dazs’ digital promotional campaign needs during the Qixi Festival, we conducted in-depth analysis of market trends and target audiences. Considering consumers’ preferences for personalization and social sharing, we decided to design an innovative “Wish and Gift” campaign.

Utilizing the widespread usage and convenience of the LINE platform, this campaign not only increases brand exposure but also promotes interaction among consumers, thereby driving sales.

  • Enhancing Customer Interaction and Engagement: Encouraging user interaction and enhancing the sense of participation through social sharing and wish-making features.

  • Promoting Brand Exposure and Sales: Leveraging the power of social networks to expand brand exposure and directly drive product sales.

  • Collecting Customer Feedback and Data: Gathering user preferences and feedback through the campaign to provide data support for future marketing strategies.

Using the LINE Messaging API and LINE Front-end Framework (LIFF), we can create a digital interactive platform where users can select gifts, share gifts, and leave comments.

Developing a sharing mechanism that allows users to share their selected gifts via LINE or other social platforms with friends or post them to their own social media pages.
